STATION DE VRIDI-EST

Located along the Vridi Canal in Abidjan, Vridi-Est ensures the natural gas treatment before delivery to customers such as CIPREL (Compagnie Ivoirienne de Production d’Electricité), AGGREKO, CIE (compagnie Ivoirienne de Production d’Electricité), SIR (Société Ivoirienne de Raffinage) et la PETROCI (Société des Opérations Pétrolières de Côte d’Ivoire). Vridi-Est production plant has a natural gas treatment and delivery capacity of 140 millions cubic feet a day.

To face the demands of the customers in the Electrical Sector (thermical plants) and to third parties (PETROCI and SIR), Vridi’s station is equiped with many units, mainly a pressure reduction skid, gaz liquid separation skid, metering and finally gaz heating prior to delivery.

It also has a liquid hydrocarbon conditionning unit (condensate and crude oil) originating from the different production sites. This products are delivered to the SIR refining unit though pumps.

The site is managed by an Onshore Operating Chief who, in contact with the Direction du Mouvement de l’Energie (DME) and the client’s differents control rooms, coordinates gas delivery based on the demand.

The Chief Operator, also site’s Head of Security and Environement, is assisted in this task by an Onshore Operator and a Security and Environement Supervisor. While the former is in charge of monitoring production parameters on the production site and to report any abnormal activity that can impact the product’s qualité, the second takes care of all aspects in regards with the compliance and application of the Hygiene, Security and Environement regulations. (HSE).

This site is also QSE certified QSE (ISO 9001, OSHAS 18001 eand ISO 14001) by Bureau Veritas.

AZITO PLANT UNIT

Located in the Yopougon (Abidjan) area close to the AZITO village, the AZITO plant unit is the second onshore treatment site of natural gas. On this side of town, customers are the AZITO OM thermal units and PETROCI. AZITO production station has daily treatment capacity and delivery of 100 millions cubic feet.

This gas terminal, supervised by the Chief Operator from Vridi, holds the same equipment as Vridi in order to deliver gas in accordance to the client’s specifications.

Daily managing of the site is ensured by an Onshore Lead Operator, assisted by an Operator, for the exploitation parameters monitoring and compliance with HSE regulations..

This site is also certified QSE (ISO 9001, OSHAS 18001 and ISO 14001).

To underlined is the fact that to this day, daily available gas that is available for delivery by FOXTROT International to the various onshore sites is 174 MPC/J.
