GEOGRAPHIC LOCATION

Production platform FOXTROT-PFA and MARLIN-PFB are respectively located in the FOXTROT and MARLIN fields of bloc CI-27.

Implanted in the Guinea Gulf, they are 8 kms apart and about 18 kms away from the Jacqueville shore.

FOXTROT-PFA PLATFORM

In 1997, a platform building up for 2 wells as well as a gazoduc and oleoduc construction project was approved by the Governement of Côte d’Ivoire resulting in the creation of FOXTROT-PFA platform and to onshore production plants. In 1997, The objective was to provide the different thermal power plants of Vridi (CIPREL and CIE) and AZITO (AZITO O&M) with gaz.

The platform is operated by a team composed of production and maintenance personnel all working under a supervisor also acting as the Site Security and Environment Supervisor. To be underlined is the fact that as well as all Foxtrot Onshore sites, FOXTROT-PFA is triply QSE certified by Bureau Veritas.

In terms of production, FOXTROT-PFA’s capacity is 154 million cubic feet daily (MCF/d). From 1999 to this day, 8 natural gas and crude oil wells have been put to production on this platform. These liquid hydrocarbones are carried out to the stabilizing site of Vridi before being delivered to SIR.

MARLIN-PFB PLATFORM

To face Côte d’Ivoire’s increasing demand on natural gas, and to improve the natural gas supply to the electrical sector, FOXTROT International and its partners committed to the building of a second platform named MARLIN-PFB.

Base engineering has been launched in collaboration with the Houston Mustang Engineering study office in the United States in July 2010. Detailed engineering and construction was left to Rosetti in Italy.

MARLIN-PFB platform, a modern technology crude oil and natural gas unit, was set up on april 25 2015 along the Jacqueville Department coast. This second platform aims to reinforce FOXTROT’s production capacity and secure the electrical sector’s natural gas supply.

Just like FOXTROT-PFA, MARLIN is operated by a team of production and maintenance specialists, all reporting to a Supervisor, Head of Security and Environment on the site.

The first Marlin field’s oil crude well, Marlin-B1 went into production on october 3 2015. Then, came 4 other wells drilled during the last FOXTROT International drilling campain that ended on september 2016.
